Industry and sea salvaged materials are reconfigured into a figure of quiet endurance. Its bowed posture and suspended cast face convey both physical weight and emotion. The ship panel bears the scars of pitting dents and corrosion. Constructed from bent and welded rebar, construction-grade steel is twisted into organic flowing lines. Exposed reddish-brown rust and heat discoloration at the weld points add contrast.
