‘WHY NOT PEACE?’

Height 36cm, Width 18 cm, Weight 8.4kg. Materials: solid iron, steel, chemically oxidised.

About This Work:

Two figures share one steel body, scarred by war but undivided. Four circular wounds pierce the form, yet their arms hang open at their sides. Made while conflict dominates the news, this piece argues that peace is not distant. The damage is already shared, the hands are already open, and the wounds let light through.
