INSECURE

Six individually crafted figures stand in a circle on a steel base.  We associate iron and steel with strength and industrial weight yet this piece presents a paradox.  While the material conveys strength, the stance lacks certainty. Each figure bows forward with elongated limbs lowered heads and an outwardly pitched body, all physically expressing doubt.
