This sculpture has been constructed in various heavy gauge metals consisting of iron, steel, and copper. The forms are double sided with abstract shapes formed on the metal brake. The arc welded patination and carbon thermal gouging have encouraged the metal plates to fuse together under extreme temperatures, resulting in a molten surface. The finished sculpture has then been chemically forced, giving an oxidised aged look.
With polished copper faces to both the male and female, adding contrast to the overall work.
